In Kenya, we support Dave Osborne. Dave helps boys and young men who are addicted to glue sniffing ( a way to manage their hunger). There is a home he has founded where the boys can live while trying to make changes in their lives. Many young men come and go. Others stay, and experience significant change.
Family of Hope, is a transition home, set up to help disciple boys who have lived on the street, and return them home with a relative when it is possible. We try to help them leave their addictions, become followers of Jesus, as well as productive Kenyan citizens. The boys live on campus during their discipleship.
When Dave visits the United States, he periodically comes to our church to encourage us, and speak about his work in Kenya. We have seen him to be a faithful and humble man.
Dave Osborne’s ministry website is at Family of Hope.
